You can have all of these questions and more answered by attending an NRHA Show Secretary Seminar. Starting in 2008 all NRHA
approved shows are required to have a certified secretary. You can become an NRHA Certified Secretary by attending a seminar.

Seminar FAQs
What equipment is required to participate?
A computer with a high-speed connection and a microphone. It is better if you have a web camera because it is easier to
participate, however it is not required.
Can more than two people participate at the same computer?
Yes, as long as everyone can see, hear and participate it doesn't matter how many are at the computer.
It is required to be at the computer the entire 3 hours?
Yes, breaks will be taken periodically but, it is required that all participants be at the computer at any time the seminar
is taking place.
When will the seminars be held?
You can view a schedule of the seminars on the NRHA website.
How do I sign up?
Sign up online or email the completed application from this page.
How much does the seminar cost and how long am I certified?
$75 and 2 years
Is there a test?
It will be required for the test to be completed individually and sent back to the NRHA office before you will be considered
to be an official NRHA Show Secretary. An 80% must be made on the test in order to become certified.
Do I get anything to show I'm certified?
Yes, after the test are graded you will receive a letter along with a certificate noting your certification.
