Reining fans will soon have another opportunity to see the sport showcased on a national stage.
The National Reining Horse Association is excited to announce that the World Reining CC, held at BO Ranch in La Chapelle-la-Reine, France, was featured in an upcoming episode of The Wild World of Western Sports on Fox Sports, FS1.
Created and produced by Grandview Entertainment, The Wild World of Western Sports is a new television series that explores the people, traditions, and competitions that define western sports and cowboy culture around the globe. The series premieres Saturday, July 25, at 3 p.m. ET on FS1 with an episode hosted by Mo Brings Plenty, featuring the First Nations Rodeo and Relay Races from the Calgary Stampede in Alberta, Canada.
The episode featuring the World Reining CC, is scheduled to air Saturday, Aug. 22, with the broadcast time to be announced by FOX Sports.
Filmed at the world-renowned BO Ranch, the episode showcases the athleticism of reining while highlighting the international reach of the sport through one of NRHA’s premier global championships. Viewers will experience the excitement of elite competition, the beauty of the venue, and the passion of riders representing countries from across Europe.
“The World Reining CC at Bo Ranch and produced by one of the most talented producers in the performance horse sphere is a solid recipe for success,” said NRHA Commissioner, Billy Smith.
NRHA members and fans are encouraged to tune in for the series premiere on July 25 and watch for additional details on the August 22 European Championship episode as broadcast information becomes available.
