The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) is proud to announce that Double Run Farm, owned by Monica Watson of Leland, North Carolina, has officially become its newest Million Dollar Owner. The milestone was reached following results from the 2026 National Reining Breeders Classic, where the program’s sustained success across multiple major events carried it past the prestigious lifetime earnings threshold.
Double Run Farm has built its reputation on a consistent and intentional program focused on elite breeding, ownership, and nomination, producing multiple high-level performers that have excelled on reining’s biggest stages. The program’s success is anchored by a proven cross of outstanding bloodlines and a commitment to developing horses capable of competing at the sport’s highest level. One of the sport’s most recognizable names, Wimpys Little Chic, was bred by Double Run.
